Ready 515

Ready 515 (formerly the Y Achievers Program) is a career, college, and life readiness program that works with Central Iowa youth from 6th through 12th grade. Through this program, we explore career and college pathways and support academic achievement, personal growth, and success. Ready 515 focuses on experiential learning by engaging youth through in-person tours at job sites and offices, college and trade school visits, meetings with community leaders and professionals, learning about volunteerism, and mentorship. For more information or to get involved, please email yachievers@dmymca.org.

Grubb Role Models In Training is a program that allows middle and high school students, ages 11-18, to create a safe space to develop community, have important conversations, build leadership skills and explore career and educational options after high school. Do The Math 247

Let’s strengthen character! The Do The Match 247 program is for teens and will cover topics such as respect, etiquette, responsibility, and stereotypes. This is a 6-week program with meetings, connecting, and sharing with recognition and a certificate awarded at the end.
